Retail Store Associate – We are looking for someone to join our retail team! The position would start out as part time but could grow into a full time position for the right candidate quickly. Some of the duties include: helping customers, wrapping meat, cleaning, putting out new products, fronting shelves, taking orders, local deliveries, using our Point of Sale system, and answering phone calls. Packer/Driver – Experience working in a cutting room a plus but we will train the right candidate. Duties include: wrapping, packing and labeling meat products, cleaning, delivering orders to our wholesale and retail customers, and making sure that orders are correct before they go out. Attention to detail is necessary for this position! The perfect candidate would have a valid drivers license and good driving record, be able to follow instruction, trustworthy, dependable and work well in a team environment. The right candidate can expect to start with around 25 hours and can work into a full-time position very quickly. Starting pay will depend on experience and how qualified the person is with a 30 day review to assess whether or not a raise is warranted. Meat Cutter – We are a USDA meat facility and are looking for a meat cutter with experience. The right candidate will start out working between 20-30 hours a week and can quickly become full-time, if qualified. Some of the duties include: carcass cutting, sausage making, packing, cleaning equipment, and occasionally delivering to a resale or wholesale customer. Prior experience is required. The perfect candidate wood be able to take direction and do quality work.
